The Information Technology Advisory Council (ITAC) is responsible for advising and making recommendations to the Chief Information Officer of the Commonwealth and the Secretary of Administration regarding IT in the Commonwealth. The structure of ITAC is in Virginia Code § 2.2-2699.5, and its powers and duties are set forth in § 2.2-2699.6. | The Virginia Cybersecurity Planning Committee (VCPC) governs the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP). The VCPC was created pursuant to budget language, currently found in Item 81(F) of the 2024 Appropriation Act. |
