Description: The Internal Audit charter establishes the mission, reporting responsibilities, authority, functions, limitations, and standards which VDOT's Internal Audit Division follows in performing its assigned duties in compliance with agency policy and state law. The charter is published as Department Policy Memorandum (DPM) 5-1 in the Department Memoranda Manual.
