| 회의 목적 A public meeting for the Department of Environmental Quality to exchange information with the public on technical issues concerning the proposed permit for land application, such as site-specific information, the standard content of permits that regulate land application, and how the public can provide comment for the requested new land application sites. The Chilhowie Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant has submitted an application to authorize the land application of biosolids to an additional 25 acres of the John Berry Farm located along Carlock Creek Road, and to approximately 63 acres of the Seth Heath Farm located on Fox Valley Road in Smyth County at a controlled rate that is protective of water quality and human health. The proposed application sites represent an increase of more than 50 % relative to the area permitted in 2012. If approved, this additional acreage will increase the permitted acreage to approximately 121 acres. | |
