This action addresses amendments to 24VAC30-72 and 24VAC30-73 made that are outside of the mandate and APA exemption of Chapter 870 of the 2011 Acts of Assembly, which was limited to subdivision entrances. VDOT filed an action amending 24VAC30-72, 24VAC30-73, 24VAC30-92, and 24VAC30-155 in November of 2011 to address mandates from Chapters 647, 870, and 888, but does not have the same latitude to make exempt changes to 24VAC30-72 and 24VAC30-73 to make technical and other corrections using Chapter 870 as justification. Amendments made under this action are APA-exempt as specified below. These amendments are filed separately to allow for a different effective date after January 1, 2012 than the amendments in the other action, which have a mandated effective date of prior to January 1, 2012. |
